What we store, how we protect it, and what we never touch

No brokerage credentials

EdgeScan never asks for your broker login, API keys, or portfolio data. The screener runs on public EOD market data only.

Encrypted in transit

All connections use TLS 1.3. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt — we cannot recover your password, only reset it.

Hosted in India

Application and database servers run in an Indian AWS region. Your data does not leave Indian jurisdiction for storage.

No data selling

We do not sell, share, or license your personal data to third parties. Usage analytics are anonymised before storage.

What data we store

  • Email address (for account and subscription management)
  • Hashed password
  • Subscription status and billing history (via Razorpay)
  • Telegram alert preferences (if you set them up)
  • Anonymous usage events (no PII attached)

What we never store

  • Brokerage login credentials or API keys
  • Portfolio holdings or trade history
  • Bank account or card details (handled by Razorpay)
  • Location or device fingerprinting data

Reporting a vulnerability

If you find a security issue, please disclose it responsibly to security@edgescan.in before public disclosure. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
